Lonnnnnnngggg time no talkie! I truly am sorry to everyone who has kept watching, came by and left nice comments. Thank you. I appreciate it even if im not around a whole hell of a lot anymore. Im gonna update my life in this blog; plus give a shout out to a legend that has been lost; and lastly, random thoughts on this summers movies and my blogspot (which has no art; just ramblings like this) so I can keep the rants to that and start postiing stuff again when I get the release or get off my fat ass to do it. So, here....we.....go......
Life: Things are always well. I finished my first contract on a Disney show called "Handy Manny" about the only legal mexican in America...Hahaha bad joke but suck it up buttercup; its a joke. It was an amazing experience; I worked under some stupidly talented people and I am honered to take away so many friends from that experience. Just the best first Gig you could ever ask for (with the exception of the big 3 of course). I was a character animator and learnt so much from the people around me; Definatly more than school
Legend: We lost a true pioneer on Sunday, and I know alot of people are going to gloss over this and just be like "he died??" when watching the academy awards next year. But I am gonna give props and if you wanna hear the whole thing go to my blogspot and I will pour it out there. All the love to Stan Winston. Truly, we have lost a great. This man is in the same vein, the same wave as Jim Henson and will be sorely missed. Alot of todays generation (mine) will only be replicas of a truly great pioneer; i wish we all could learn an iota of what this man brought to the table. It makes me wish there was more pioneers in this generation too. It is a huge loss to entertainment, film, puppetering and generally humanity as he was one of the few greats......R.I.P Stan winston. And I urge you, next time your able to give any amount to Cancer research, you do so. I promise you this; This desiese will be the biggest killer of humanity. More so than Aids; war; Famine. When the books are closed; Cancer is gonna be totalliery winner. And we gotta try and stop this.
Lastly, the summer so far: Havent seen the hulk. Lookin forward to it tho as I have friends that worked tiresly on it. I wish them all the success for them and there movie and hope it does well (it opened #1 so go see it; i will when i get two hours to burn!) Also, Indy 4. Hmmm. Well, again I wrote a thourough review on the ole blogspot. What did I think of it? Its lost the "feeling". There are alot of reasons why, and not just because hes old. Lucas is truly, TRULY, losing it. (Opinions of a mad man; I still love George Lucas; Lucas film and any potential future employers that are subsediares of Lucas, including George). It has many reasons why, but you can see most of it for yourself. I was shocked by Iron Man; I really enjoyed that film. See it and you wont be dissapointed! Alas, I have to wait for the one, true king tho. The Dark Knight IS my summer, as all hinged on that and Indy (Indy was a good kick to the nuts, but honestly, once the shock of "I cant believe they went there" wears off and you see it a second time, its an ok movie
